Tang Soo Do is a traditional Korean martial art with roots tracing back over 2,000 years. It evolved from ancient Korean systems such as Soo Bahk Do and Tae Kyun, later influenced by Chinese martial arts and Okinawan Karate. In the 20th century, Grandmaster Hwang Kee formalised these elements into a powerful, well-rounded system focused on both effective self-defense and personal development.
At Prosperity Dojang, we are committed to developing not only skilled martial artists, but confident, disciplined, and resilient individuals. For over 10 years, our dojang has provided a structured, supportive environment where students of all ages can grow physically, mentally, and personally.
Our approach focuses on:
• Practical self-defense skills for real-world situations
• Structured progression from beginner to black belt
• Discipline and respect as non-negotiable values
• Personal growth – beyond the training floor
We believe martial arts is more than just training – it is a lifelong journey of self-improvement.
